Schafbergspitze hotels looks a bit like the Swiss Hotel - "Rigi Kulm Hotel", but surly Schafbergspitze Hotel is closer to the edge of the mountain.
Schafbergspitze hotel provides a wonderful view of the mountains of the Salzkammergut and the lakes in the region. it was built in 1862 by Wolfgang Grömmer, since 1966 the hotel has been run as a household business. Area prices are not too expensive and a bed and breakfast only 48 euros (about $ 65), be confident to take cash with you since the hotel does not accept credit cards.
In the summertime there is a cog railway obtainable (named Schafbergbahn) that begins from St. Wolfgang all the way to the summit and goes.
