Christ of the Abyss, Italy

Christ of the Abyss is a submerged bronze statue of Jesus, the first & amp amp Original statue is in the Mediterranean Sea appropriate from San Fruttuoso is situated in the Italian Riviera.
In 1954, the sculpture was placed 17 meters underwater. Statue of Christ 2½ feet tall
Other casts of the statue are situated in other places about the world - .. Not only, but also in churches and museums beneath water
In 1961, was a copy in Grenada .
In 1965, it is about in just eight meters deep, close to Important Largo, Florida, was placed in the United States.
The US-sculpture is the most photographed statue of the three.
