Turnip Rock, North Carolina

turnip rock (also recognized as Point aux Barque ) is positioned straight on the shores of Lake Huron, around three kilometers northeast of Port away Austin (Michigan, USA), it is a nice rock formation. also (depending on the season), a tiny tidal island is Turnip Rock gets its name from its beet-like shape, the similarity with turnip is emphasized in distinct by the trees on the top of the rock surface. This rock formation is a result of a lot of years of wave erosion. The land about Turnip Rock is privately owned, so the only way to get the rock is, and so by boat / kayak
