Caerlaverock Castle was built in the 13th century in the south-west of Scotland. Caerlaverock Castle was besieged and repeatedly until it was left for the last time in 1640 and was left abandoned in a similar situation, of which there are identified today. Caerlaverock Castle is one of the oldest castles in Europe, as close as it was applied for the initial time (Caerlaverock Castle kept its distinctive water triangular plan given that the 13th century)
