Mao Zedong head statue is in Orange Isle, Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, China . The statue was unveiled on December 2009, (Mao's 116th birthday). The statue is 32 meters higher. It took two years to create it. The price was about 35 million US dollars (300 million RMB) were mined eight,000 giant granite bricks from Fujian and broght to Changsha.
