Egeskov Castle was built in 1554 and is situated in the south of the island of Funen. Egeskov Castle is only about two hours drive (South West) from the airport of Copenhagen in Denmark.
The castle is Europe's ideal preserved Renaissance water castle, and it is from Could to October in typically open.
Egeskov castle has stunning outside gardens, which includes four hedge mazes, museums, camping web site, a playground and even a bio-energy company that sustainable products creats.
