Right after Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" printed the village was almost tripled the amount of vacationers. the Spactacular bulding the Tour Magdala between 1898-1905 is on the edge of the village, the. as a library to Saint Mary Magdalene was used dedicated, till these days there is no certainty exactly where did Bérenger Saunière the funds to fund all had buildings he was located guilty in 1911 (at the church) in the sale of ecclesiastical privileges (such as pardons or sinecures), but that is nonetheless not adequate to oppose the several conspiracy theories.
