Lone Eagle head stands higher above Mirror Lake, it is in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Roosevelt National Forest - (north-central Colorado, USA). To get to the Mirror Lake, you have an eight-mile route (15 mile round trip) along Cascade Creek and the Crater Lake comply with (which begins at Monarch lake.) There are some great campsites subsequent to Mirror Lake. (Camping permit can be bought at the ranger station next to Monarch Lake Trailhead)
