The Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve is positioned correct in the middle of the "Northern Territory" in Australia. The Devils Marbles are a series of big round boulders some seem unlikely to stay balanced in the position they are nowadays. Several layers of sandstone on the granite triggered the granite to crack and then the erosion of sandstone granite pop to the surface. The stress was gone, had to extend the granite Cracks formed, and it fell apart in massive, square blocks, the blocks were then formed by wind and rain and heat to the remarkable round rock now identified as the Devils Marbles.
