Semeru Volcano is an active conical volcano built of several layers (also known as a stratovolcano known) in East Java, Indonesia. Semeru is the highest mountain on Java (Java island itself is a result of current volcanic eruptions). Semeru volcano was believed by Hindu Buddhists as the residence of the gods and was referred to as "The Wonderful Mountain". Climbing the volcano is a wonderful experience, but it is suggested to commence at 04.00 clock, when it comes to parking space, and the viewing region is as well complete (notice it for the duration of this time of the morning extremely cold). the hike to the crater itself is not too hard and properly worth the effort
