Appiano (also identified as Castel d'Appiano) is a medieval fortress (a hill fort) and South Tirol (northern Italy). The castle is situated on a steep cliff above the city Missiano. it is believed that it was constructed about the begging of the 12th century. The fort gives stunning views and excellent breeze.
