Manarola, Italy

Manarola is a colorful village, which is part of the Cinque Terre, which in English implies "the five nations" (it is actually 5 neighboring villages to the Italian Riviera is -the coastline of the Mediterranean). Manarola is northwest of the city of La Spezia, Italy.

Manarola is thought to be the oldest of the five villages from the early 14th century. Manarola like its neighboring villages have become popular destination, particularly in summer time when the nearby beach delivers a excellent swim />

As Riomaggiore (only 800 meters to the south lies east to Manarola), Manarola is known for its excellent wine.
