Mount Katmai is positioned in southern Alaska, in the United States. Mount Katmai is a portion of Katmai National Park.
It is actually a large volcanic crater filled with water, it is about 2km size it employed to be a little larger, but on June 5, 1912, a volcanic eruption (biggest volcanic eruption in the globe - 20th Century) blew up and generates the crater. Scientists believe that Katmai will erupt again
