"The Cathedral of Fish" is positioned in the Ebro reservoir (aka Ebro's swamp), in the area of Campoo-Los Valles (south of Cantabria, Spain).
The Ebro reservoir was made by the order to develop of Francisco Franco in 1945, to much better water provide to downstream cities and villages.
The remains of 9 villages under the waters of the dam, although some had been moved ashore level.
